About this tour

Combine your tour of the beautiful Tulum Mayan ruins with Xplor Adventure Park, located in the heart of the Riviera Maya: Playa del Carmen. Visit first Tulum Ruins in the morning and enjoy a mind-blowing detailed tour of the site. Our professional tour guides will make you feel like you are traveling back into time as the city comes to life with their explanation.

Next, we depart Tulum to continue our tour to Xplor Adventure Park where you will strap on your helmet and tighten your harness and get ready for an adventure fit for your entire family! Join four different activities at Xplor: Ziplines, ATV riding in the jungle, swimming in caves and paddling on rafts through underground rivers. Go back and try them again as many times you want, all 4 activities are included with your admission!

Don’t forget to stop to reload energy at the Troglodita Restaurant, a buffet with a wide range of Mexican and International food!

Availability: Monday to Saturday

Itinerary

  1. 7AM – 8:00AM: Pick-up at your hotel or resort’s front lobby (times may vary depending on your location). Pick-up times are scheduled one day before departure.
  2. Drive to Tulum Ruins (45mins to 1.5hrs depending on your location).
  3. 8AM – 9AM: Arrival at Tulum Ruins and restroom break.
  4. Enjoy a fascinating tour of the ruins for 1.5hrs to 2 hrs approximately, free time included.
  5. 11AM – 11:30PM: Arrival to Xplore Adventure Park.
  6. 5PM-6PM: Return to Hotel

Blew Away Expectations

Our tour of Tulum with Heber4Ever and Alma’s LDS Tours was absolutely perfect in every way! The early start time was ideal — we completely beat the crowds and had the site almost to ourselves. Heber is incredibly knowledgeable about the Mayan people, their history, and the Tulum site itself. We especially appreciated how he thoughtfully highlighted perspectives from an LDS viewpoint without ever assuming or speculating beyond what evidence supports. That balance made the experience both spiritually enriching and historically grounded.
